Global Foundation for First Responders Presents $5000 Check to ALEAN Scholarship Fund

Garden City, New York (May 6, 2018)— Global Foundation for First Responders’ Executive Director, William
McGuire, presented a check in the amount of $5000 to the Anthony P. Infante Jr. Scholarship Fund at the ALEAN
Spring Conference in Salt Lake City on May 1, 2018. ALEAN, or The Airport Law Enforcement Agencies Network
gives out annual scholarships to honor the Port Authority Officer, Anthony “Tony” P. Infante Jr. Officer Infante, lost
his life on September 11, 2001 after he entered the North Tower of the World Trade Center to help evacuate
victims. The scholarship helps family members of ALEAN achieve their higher education goals. “I am thrilled to be
part of this organization, they do tremendous work. Our donation today helps these amazing individuals get closer
to fulfilling their educational dreams,” states William McGuire, Executive Director of the Global Foundation for
First Responders.
ALEAN holds member conferences in the Spring and Fall of each year to provide training and discuss industry
business. As an organization, it has been instrumental in addressing terrorism around the world through its
expansion activities and work with government agencies. Each year recipients of the scholarship are awarded
funding to further their educations. The Global Foundation for First Responders has been part of their scholarship
program since the foundation was founded.
The Global Foundation for First Responders raises awareness for the needs of national law enforcement,
firefighters’ children’s foundations and other children’s charities so their immediate, and long-term needs, are

About William McGuire Founder:
William McGuire is a native of Long Island and a former Fireman from Mineola. He started the foundation
nearly two years ago after witnessing the ever-increasing needs of families of first responders first hand. It
became his passion to give back to all that serve leading to the development of Global Foundation for First
